Omnie Solution announces, global marketer of consumer and commercial products holding brands global brands in commercial and consumer products have got developed e-commerce websites for their above brands integrated with web content management system on Microsoft Sharepoint 2007.
Newell Rubbermaid desired to count on the benefits of e-commerce websites; knocking down the regional barriers and ensuring effective buying and selling of their products. In addition the company also wanted to develop a global appeal and unlimited store hours for their customer and enhance brand awareness. Parallely , the company wanted to facilitate excellent collaboration between the customer, suppliers and other stakeholders of the organization by smooth information flow at the group level.
Omnie, after its decent background work on the project, developed 5 portals for theirdifferent brands and a centralized Content Management System at group level on Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 with integrated capabilities of Biztalk , Commerce Server 2009 that enhanced the user experience.
The entire project was completed phase-wise with back –to – back release of their e- commerce websites after every 2- 3 months. At Newell Rubbermaid was ensured by operational excellence by a seamless integration was ensured with their established ERP system ( SAP), Supply Chain( Fedex), 3rd Party solution – Sales Tax( Vertex and Avatex), online payment gateways ( PayPal and Paymentech), fraudulent check solution ( Kount).
With the launch of e-commerce site the organization extended its visibility across the globe and gradually strengthening the relationship with their customer. Having a centralized Content Management System enabled member access information on real time and more efficient operation improving communication across locations.
