We just love ice cream !

As a mother of two small children who were developing quite the sweet tooth, Supraja and her husband searched for a treat their kids would enjoy that would let them sleep peacefully at night. Seeing that most ice cream in the market is made with dyes and additives that make it unnaturally bright and cloyingly sweet, she wanted to find something that would be just as tasty, but even more natural.

This proved to be a harder task than getting a 5 year-old to eat their greens. Store after store and shop after shop, she just could not find anything that would give her the peace of mind her own homemade meals gave her. That’s when the big AHA! moment came. If she couldn’t find the product she wanted, why not create it herself?

That’s how Nature’s Ice Cream started. After playing around with different ingredients to create unique flavors you won’t normally come across in your neighborhood scoop shop, not only did she stumble upon clean and organic ice cream made with simple ingredients and absolutely no additives, but also deliciously tasty ice cream any kid can enjoy (and any parent would be happy to serve their children). After raving reviews from her friends and their families, she decided to do what any responsible parent would do: introduce these pure, unadulterated flavors to as many families as possible. With this important goal in mind, Supraja spent a year remodeling a beautiful historical property while developing all her signature ice cream recipes. She infused flavors from different cultures into her natural recipes and started testing with a wider audience made up of friends, family, and her community. Finally, in 2017, the culmination of all her effort came together as she and her husband opened their first scoop shop in Fremont, CA.
