Oat contains many natural active ingredients. Centuries ago, oatmeal used in bathes did not disperse well in water. Today, Colloidal Oatmeal is prepared from dehulled oats grinded into fine powder.

Our colloidal oatmeal uses a patented process that makes it virtually water soluble for use in powder free gloves, making it possible for glove users to enjoy its benefits.

Avenanthramides

Anti-irritant and redness reduction (anti-histamine effect).

Avenacins

Anti-inflammatory and immuno-regulatory properties in the treatment of atopic dermatitis (AD). Skin cleansing properties through sebum sequestering.

Flavonoids

Antioxidants.

Phenolics

Antioxidants and prevention of lipid peroxidation.

Beta-Glucan

Moisturizing and wound healing (immuno-stimulant).

Lipids/Oils

65% triglyceride, Vitamin E, phospholipids. Effective emulsifying and antioxidant activity.

Starch

Adsorption and adsorption properties. Physical barrier.

Oat Peptides

Collagen and elastin promoters by stimulation of the fibroblasts. Skin pH Buffering.
